Fiesta de Mayo: a Folk Art Inspired Beach Wedding

We are delighted to share enchanting details from a vibrant beach wedding that epitomizes the artistry and cultural flair that defines our approach to destination event planning.

Colors, Textiles, y Más

Through folk art inspired decor and details, this colorful celebration seamlessly blended the allure of the beach with the rich cultural heritage of the region. This wedding was a testament to the the boundless creativity that our team brings to every event.

Regionally Inspired. Locally Sourced. Internationally Produced.

Inspired by Otomi textiles, we curated a color and design palette evoking the essence of this ancient culture and giving it a touch of modern elegance and sophistication. The Otomi people hand trace unique designs onto ivory cotton fabric and blind stich using brightly colored thread. The animals and flowers in this lovely Mexican embroidery represent daily life. This enchanting, colorful style is based on the native flora and fauna of the Hidalgo region, and the designs include animals, plants and geometric figures that symbolize the harmony between humans and the natural world.

Good Help is Hard to Find…But We Were Blessed

Of course, our team could not have done it alone. It literally takes a village sometimes, and we are beyond grateful to work with our trusted local vendors, suppliers, and hotel staff; they make our jobs so much easier by being dedicated and taking pride in everything they do.

A special shout out to the Conrad Riviera Maya for providing such exemplary service, an absolutely gorgeous venue and luxury lodging. Just in case you’re looking for more options, here’s a list of the best hotels in Tulum according to Condé Nast Traveler.
